A balanced breakfast is made up of 3-5 different food groups. Remember, different food groups gives you a variety of nutrients to start your day.
This morning meal will stick with me for hours.
*avocado is a vegetable (or maybe technically a fruits, ha) but it isn't like spinach, broccoli or other nonstarchy vegetables. It provides mostly fat grams, so it should be counted as a fat (but you still get to mark a vegetable, a 2:1)!
